Research Visa
Research scholars can go to India for studies only after obtaining a Research Visa. Application for Research Visa on prescribed proforma, accompanied by the certificate of affiliation signed by the Competent Authority Registrar of concerned university, synopsis of proposed Research work and proposed itinerary in India, has to be submitted to the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India through Indian High Commission in Mauritius. After obtaining clearance from authorities, Research visa is issued. The process may take around six months or more.
