Curriculum Vitae of His Excellency Mr. T.P. Seetharam,
High Commissioner of India to Mauritius
Born in 1956 in Kerala, on the south-west coast of India, Mr. Seetharam did his degree in English literature from Loyola College, Chennai and post graduate degree in English from Madras Christian College. He then joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1980. He has since served in Indian diplomatic missions and posts in Hong Kong, Lusaka, Windhoek, Beijing, Phonm Penh, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Geneva and Bangkok. In New Delhi, he has worked in Indian Council for Cultural Relations, served as Press Secretary to President of India, Shri K.R. Narayanan and most recently handled India’s bilateral relations with countries in Europe as well as with the European Union. He is married to Mrs. Deepa Seetharam and has a son and a daughter.
